How it works
The leaf runs along a supported track into a prepared pocket. The cavity needs sufficient length, width and clearance for the door, guides and hardware. Services, fixings and insulation in the pocket zone must be coordinated so they do not obstruct the moving leaf.
Track maintenance should remain possible after the wall is finished. The detail needs to show how runners, stops and the panel can be adjusted or removed. Fully concealing the mechanism without a service route can turn a simple repair into building work.
